PTFE Release Sheet for PVC Window is a type of release medium used in the PVC welding process to cover the high temperature platens that weld the plastic profiles prior to joining.
During the welding process, PVC can sometimes have a tendency to adhere to surfaces, which can cause problems such as difficulty in removing the welded product or damage to the machine. The main purpose of the PTFE release sheet is to prevent the PVC material from sticking to the welding machine during the welding operation.
The PTFE release sheet provides a non-stick surface that allows the PVC to easily slide or be removed from the machine without getting stuck. It helps to ensure a smooth and efficient welding process, reducing the risk of defects or errors.
PTFE is known for its low coefficient of friction, heat resistance, and chemical inertness. These properties make it suitable for use as a release sheet in the PVC welding application. It can withstand the high temperatures and chemicals involved in the welding process without degradation or damage.
