Teflon belt for band sealer machine is suitable for continuous bag sealing in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Heat transfers through the belts surface to seal the plastic film as it conveys through the sealer. This band sealer belt is made of PTFE coated glass cloth in narrow width with two ends connected to be endless, with PTFE coating, the belt has a non stick and high temperature resistant surface that prevents molten plastic films from building up on the belts’ surface. Size of Teflon belt can be customized, the widths are typically 3/4"or 1 inch, the length usually ranges from 20 to 150 inches.

There are two types of Teflon band sealing machine belts: belt with joint and seamless. Band sealer belt with joint is using PTFE coated fiberglass fabric in thickness of 0.13mm or 0.25mm with two ends overlap and heat sealed, the overlap length is 25mm, this type of belt is easy to make and cost effective, but it will be double thick on the joint part. Seamless Teflon belt for bank sealer machine also called two-ply PTFE belt is using two layers of PTFE fabric in thickness of 0.08mm or 0.13mm laminated together with staggered splices, this provides a smooth, continuous thickness along the entire belt length which guarantees a uniform seal in packaging and heat-sealing applications.
