Teflon sheet for iron on vinyl is made from Teflon coated fabric in thickness of 0.11mm, this material is tear resistant and durable to be used for many times. Teflon sheet has a non-stick surface which will protect your working surface well and prevent vinyl from stick to the hot platen. This heat resistant pressing sheet allows high temperature resistance up to 600F degrees and material is fire resistant, you can use it without burning worries. Apart from heat transfer vinyl application for heat press machine, Teflon sheet is also used as nonstick oven liners, iron clothes protector and other crafting projects related to baking, cooking, pressing and ironing. When to Use Teflon Sheet for Iron on Vinyl
Teflon sheet is very useful when you iron on HTV on heat press machine, this non stick cover sheet is essential in below two occasions:
When you are printing a design with multi layers of HTV, for example, if you want to add rhinestones on some area of your first transfer, then you will need one piece of Teflon sheet to cover the existing transfer in order to protect the design from top platen under high temperature, otherwise the T-shirt will be waste and platen will be messy.
When you are going to make HTV on both front and back side of a T-shirt, a piece of Teflon cover sheet is needed to be placed inside of the T-shirt in order to prevent two sides stuck together. If there is buttons, zippers or thick seams get in the way, we recommend to use our heat press Teflon pillow.
