High temperature Teflon tape supplied by Scifluo in China is made from PTFE coated fiberglass fabric or PTFE film coated with pressure sensitive silicone adhesive or acrylic adhesive in thickness of .003” on one side . The tapes with pressure sensitive silicone has a very high operating temperature range of -73°C to +260°C and acrylic adhesive withstand -73°C to +170°C . Since PTFE coated fabric and PTFE film have non stick surface, they will be one side etched before applying adhesive, Scifluo has special etching formula to ensure strong bonding between adhesive and basic fabric or film. High temperature PTFE Teflon adhesive tape includes PTFE tape with silicone adhesive, PTFE tape with acrylic adhesive, PTFE film tape and PTFE zone tape.

PTFE film tape from Scifluo lies flatter than the normal skived PTFE film tape, we uses high quality skived polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film as the basic material, backing with high quality pressure sensitive silicone adhesive or acrylic adhesive on one side. PTFE film tape with silicone adhesive has excellent high temperature resistance to 260°C, PTFE film tape with acrylic adhesive resist temperature up to 170°C. Both tapes offer release surface with low coefficient of friction, PTFE film provides a slick surface over a variety of substrates to assist in general purpose, non-stick applications requiring high temperature performance.
